Celsi Leigh (Kelsi Lee) is the epitome of Beauty and Books. An author, a creative, and a free spirit she is a living example of fitting outside of the box. A young girl from the Caribbean, raised in the urban city of Philadelphia with a story to tell, Celsi is ready to make her presence known. She loves makeup, art, writing, and most importantly –- storytelling.

 

Storytelling provides a unique experience, the ability to show dynamic relationships and feelings from the perspective of a character that is a representation for all. At twelve years old she began writing stories on blogs and forums, dreaming that one day she would go on to create great stories of her own. In a world where there are not many Black Female authors or an authentic representation of the Black voice, Celsi Leigh hopes to inspire truth and authenticity with her gifted hands through the art of words. She plans to tell it all and make it relatable, using real emotions to connect with readers as many individuals have traveled similar paths of pain, trauma, self-doubt, joy, and conflict.
